The Challenge

Bordentown Family Dental are a private dental practice based in New Jersey, USA. From routine checkups to cosmetic & restorative care, Bordentown Family Dental is the neighbourhood headquarters for all things dental.

Bordentown Family Dental wanted a tooth to be incorporated into their logo and wanted to have a family feel as they normally cater to families. They wanted to use bright colours that contrasted well and gave an elegant look. The logo was to be used to form the brand guidelines for the redecoration of their surgery and all marketing materials.

Our Solution

We went through several design stages where multiple concepts were presented. At each stage we chose a concept with the client and developed it further.

We used the three teeth sizes in the logo to depict a father, mother and child and this is illustrated by the size of each tooth. The proximity of the 3 teeth shows a ‘family’ together. We used clean typography for the lettering with Bordentown standing out in bold.

The logo has been used in the redesign of the clinic and is prominent in all their literature and marketing as well as all the signage in the clinic. This logo has stood the test of time and still looks current even a few years later.
