The Challenge

Somayas Kitchen are an online grocer for indian, asian & world foods delivering all over Europe. They serve both the wholesale and retail sectors.

Somayas Kitchen were planning to launch an online grocery store and wanted a logo designed to be used on the website, on their packaging, and all their marketing. The logo had to be clean, recognisable and have a maximum of 3 colours. They wanted to portray quality and sophistication.

Our Solution

The final design incorporated a chefs hat to play on the fact that customers would be buying the ingredients to cook a chef quality meal. As it was an online business, we incorporated the website URL into the logo.

We used classy and playful typography in the lettering to give the Somayas brand its own identity, and to make sure it stood out. We developed the logo in several versions so that it could be used across various different media (black and white, negative, without the diamond, S with chef hat only etc).
