Automated purchase-order and warehouse stock-transfer processing.
The replenishment challenge
Party HQ uses Epos Now across its stores. Each store needed to raise purchase orders against selected warehouses, with warehouse staff able to part-process or fully process those orders as stock became available.
Once a purchase order was processed, the corresponding stock needed to move from the warehouse to the requesting store without someone repeating the transaction manually.
Automation that preserved the existing workflow
Slynk built a web application that monitors Epos Now for purchase orders being raised and processed. It then transfers the relevant stock from the warehouse to the store in real time and records an audit trail for reference.
Staff continued to work in Epos Now exactly as before. The integration ran in the background, so the operational improvement did not require a new process or separate tool at store level.
The outcome
Manual data entry fell significantly, stock movements followed the purchase-order process automatically and Party HQ gained a clear record of each transfer.
