Connected POS, inventory, Amazon, eBay and OnBuy with purchase-order insight.
“Gurdeep and his team have been wonderful to work with. They provided valuable insight in the planning stage, and we now have a long-term development plan with Slynk.”
A multichannel operation without one stock view
Willis Enterprises sells through several Epos Now stores and online through Amazon, eBay and OnBuy. Linnworks managed the online listings, inventory and orders, but the business needed those channels connected to Epos Now so every sale and stock movement could be understood in one place.
Purchasing was another constraint. Working out what to order for each location was slow and could lead to too much or too little stock. The team wanted reliable min/max guidance based on actual sales rather than repeated manual calculation.
Epos Now and Linnworks kept in step
Linnworks continued to collect orders from the connected marketplaces. Slynk then sent those orders into Epos Now, keeping the complete sales history available there for reporting and analysis.
Stock changes in Epos Now were passed to Linnworks in near real time, which then updated the connected sales channels. This gave the operation a dependable flow from store and marketplace sales back to the systems controlling availability.
Sales-led purchase-order planning
The purchasing service analyses sales by product and location over a configurable period. Different categories and suppliers can use different windows to account for factors such as supplier lead times.
Those results continually refine the minimum and maximum stock values used to pre-populate purchase orders in Epos Now. Staff no longer have to calculate and enter every recommendation by hand.
The outcome
Willis Enterprises gained a more dependable inventory view across channels, faster ordering and a supported integration that could grow with the business.
