More Export Options: XML, JSON, and Optional File Zipping

Flow exports just got more flexible.

You can now export your data in XML or JSON format — not just CSV. This makes it easier to connect Flow to more external platforms and systems that expect structured data formats.

Each export can be fully customised — you can control field order, naming, and structure to match exactly what another platform requires.

With this update:

  • XML and JSON export formats now available alongside CSV
  • Optional zipping — previously, files were always zipped when sent by email; now it’s up to you
  • Works seamlessly with FTP delivery, email, or direct downloads

These new options make Flow even more versatile for getting data out of Epos Now in exactly the format other platforms need — whether that’s for integrations, reporting, or data feeds.

You can now deliver exports that are ready to import straight into tools like CRMs, marketing platforms, or third-party systems — no conversion steps required.

This update gives you more control over how your data leaves Flow — making it easier to connect with other systems, share data in the right format, and build even smoother integrations around your Epos Now data.

We’re working on adding new templates to showcase the most common use cases so keep an eye out on our templates page.
