Flow now includes two new calculated fields — Total Stock Value and Average Cost Price — giving you a clearer picture of your inventory straight from Flow.
When Flow fetches stock records from Epos Now, it also retrieves all related stock batches. These fields automatically work through those batches to:
- Calculate the total stock value by summing (quantity × cost price) across all batches
- Calculate the average cost price across those batches
You can use these fields not only in exports for analysis and reporting, but also in updates — for example, setting a product’s cost price based on the current average across all batches.
