Make WooCommerce the stock master.
Let a channel manager control stock through WooCommerce, keep Epos Now available as a sales channel and send till orders back into the central online operation.
Use Epos Now as a sales channel, not the inventory system.
Most Slynk customers use Epos Now as their stock master. WooCommerce-led stock is useful when another platform already manages inventory and orders across several marketplaces, websites or warehouses.
In this model the channel manager updates WooCommerce, Slynk passes the latest stock into Epos Now, and till sales travel back through WooCommerce. The channel manager can then process every order from the same central workflow.
The master is where inventory is managed.
It is the system where stock changes begin and where orders return so the available quantity can be recalculated. In this setup WooCommerce is that shared point, usually supplied by a connected channel manager.
Reverse both sides of the usual flow.
Stock moves from WooCommerce to Epos Now, while Epos Now orders move back into WooCommerce.
Stock is controlled by WooCommerce
When the channel manager changes availability in WooCommerce, Slynk synchronises the resulting quantity to Epos Now.
Till orders return to WooCommerce
Each Epos Now sale is created as a WooCommerce order so the central system sees the sale and updates stock.
Channel managers stay central
Platforms such as Linnworks, Veeqo, ChannelGrabber, TradeGecko or Emerge can continue collecting orders and controlling inventory through WooCommerce.
Confirm the ownership of every update.
A clear source of truth prevents conflicting edits and makes retry behaviour predictable.
